ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has indefinitely extended the deadline for the submission of expression of interest and nomination forms by aspirants ahead of the party’s national convention.
In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja, the Secretary of the Publicity Sub-Committee, Debo Ologunagba, said the new decision replaces the earlier deadline of Friday, September 26.
He explained that the committee has not fixed another date, stressing that once a new deadline is agreed upon, it will be communicated publicly.

According to Ologunagba, the NCOC also approved a shift in the date for the screening of aspirants, earlier scheduled for Tuesday, September 30.
“The extension was necessitated by the need to ensure smooth arrangements for the conduct of the exercise. The new dates will be communicated in due course.
“All aspirants are urged to take note of this extension and be guided accordingly,” Ologunagba stated.
The PDP has fixed its national elective convention for November 15 and 16 in Ibadan, Oyo State.
