LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator, Shank Comics, has spoken about rumors of a rivalry with fellow streamer Peller.
During a candid conversation on Isbae U’s trending podcast Curiosity Made Me Ask, Shank addressed the comparisons that have been swirling since his recent transition into the live-streaming world.
Shank, who rose to fame through viral skits on Twitter and YouTube, officially entered the streaming scene in April 2025 after attending Kai Cenat’s Streamer University in the U.S.
His unique blend of comedy, album listening parties, and exclusive music previews has since earned him the title of most-followed African streamer on Twitch.

When host Isbae U brought up the online buzz about his relationship with Peller who, despite being younger, has been streaming for a longer period, Shank was quick to dispel any talk of tension.
“There’s no bad blood. Peller is like a brother to me. We talk from time to time,” he said.
Shank emphasized that while comparisons are natural in the industry, they don’t reflect any personal conflict. He also acknowledged Peller’s experience, stating, “He is my senior colleague.”
As both creators continue to dominate the African streaming landscape in their own lanes, Shank’s reassures fans that there’s room for everyone at the top.
