In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President will spend the break in France and the United Kingdom before returning to Nigeria.

“The vacation will last 10 working days. President Tinubu will spend the period between France and the UK and then return to the country,” Onanuga stated.

Tinubu’s leave comes just a week after his return from a two-week official trip to Japan and Brazil.

On that trip, the President attended the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD9) in Yokohama, Japan, from August 20 to 22, where he also held bilateral meetings and engaged with Japanese company executives investing in Nigeria.

He later proceeded to Brasilia, Brazil, on a state visit at the invitation of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
