Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, has stirred heated debate after releasing a new song under the stage name Mohbad Dad, calling on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in his son’s case.
In the track, he praised controversial activist Verydarkman for championing the cause and “fighting for the masses.”

But instead of rallying behind him, many social media users accused Aloba of exploiting his son’s death for attention. The video quickly went viral, with critics branding the move as “clout chasing” and questioning his true motives.
Supporters, however, argue that music could be his way of grieving and keeping the case alive in public discourse.
