LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Street-hop sensation Portable sparked online buzz after sharing a dramatic video showing an intense confrontation with an alleged attacker who, according to the singer, attempted to harm him with a dagger.
The viral clip, posted by Portable himself, captures a shirtless man sitting on the ground during interrogation. The suspect, adorned with an amulet on his right arm, was said to have confronted the artist while he was seated in his car outside his father’s house in Ogun State.

In the video, Portable alleges that the man—described as a northerner—was wearing military-style camouflage trousers and a “special forces” long-sleeved shirt.
The outfit, along with a dagger and additional charms said to have been cut from the suspect’s waist, were reportedly seized by members of Portable’s entourage.
The man claimed he was a member of the Joint Task Force and presented an ID card to support his claim, insisting he was merely passing by. Portable, however, rejected this version of events, asserting that the suspect had deliberately targeted him.
Displaying the confiscated items to his fans, Portable declared, “I am a child of God—no evil can harm me,” and encouraged his followers to look closely at the face of the man he said tried to kill “a superstar.”
