LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Nollywood is sizzling with drama as actress Regina Daniels has fired back at Angela Okorie in a heated social media exchange, accusing her of once pursuing her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko.
The clash began after Angela Okorie took to Instagram Live to announce that she had forgiven fellow actress Mercy Johnson while also revealing her battle with a serious illness.
However, her message took a turn when she called on Mercy to apologize to others she may have wronged, comments that didn’t sit well with Daniels.
Leaping to Johnson’s defense, Regina Daniels slammed Okorie’s remarks and criticized her for stirring controversy. The situation escalated when Okorie responded by throwing shade at Daniels’ marriage to Nwoko, pointing to their significant age gap.
In a series of fiery InstaStory post, Daniels didn’t hold back.
She wrote, “He is certainly not your regular old man. He is everything your kind prays for but can’t attract. Don’t get me started on how you were chasing this same old man.”
The actress, who shares two children with Nwoko, went further by warning Okorie not to compare their careers, successes, or lives.
“Age? It’s just a number. What really counts is how you’ve lived, what you’ve built, and who you’ve become. The roads I’ve walked, the milestones I’ve hit with grace, not disgrace are places your bitterness will never reach,” Daniels added.
Daniels also reminded Okorie of her early days in Nollywood, claiming she was present during Angela’s first acting gig, a role allegedly given to her by Mercy Johnson.
She warned her to stop being bitter or risk getting more facts exposed for the world to see and hear, while advising her to remain humble.
The feud has taken the industry by storm, with fans picking sides and speculating whether more revelations are on the way.
