Cross River Lawmaker Dumps PDP, Joins APC

ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-The lawmaker representing Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency in Cross River State, Mr. Peter Akpanke, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Akpanke made the announcement during a media briefing held by the Cross River APC caucus in the National Assembly on Friday in Calabar.

In his remarks, he praised the leadership of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu, expressing satisfaction with their performance over the past two years and endorsing their re-election bids.

“I am up and in support of anything that will move the state and nation forward,” the federal lawmaker declared.
