LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Afrobeats newcomer and viral skit maker Nasboi is turning heads with one of the boldest and most creative campaigns in Nigerian music — a 36-state kneeling tour to request a feature from Afrobeats heavyweight Davido.
The campaign kicked off in Davido’s native town of Osun State, where Nasboi was pictured kneeling with a placard in front of the Osun State Government Secretariat, officially launching his cross-country plea.
Showing just how far he’s willing to go to achieve his dream, on day two, he continued the mission in front of the Kano State Government House, proving he’s serious about seeing it through.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Nasboi reflected on his journey, he posted,

“In 2019, I started mimicking Davido to get his attention for my music, but the videos blew me up as a comedian… God’s plan. I am back to plea with 001. Bless me with a verse for this song, king. I will be kneeling across 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass.”
Calling on fans to tag Davido in every post, his daring journey has quickly garnered massive support online.
From skit star to serious artist, Nasboi’s determination, creativity, and humility have resonated with fans, who have begun pushing the message across platforms.
Davido has since acknowledged the campaign with a playful comment: “set up 😂”, sparking speculation that the superstar may be warming up to the idea.
