LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Popular Nigerian comedian and skit maker, Sabinus has hilariously responded to fans who have been tagging him in a trending online challenge asking celebrities to gift them N1 million.
The comedian took to social media to express his confusion and amusement over the trend, wondering why fans would consider him a suitable candidate for such generosity.
According to Sabinus, they’re tagging the wrong person.
“I no really understand o, ‘tag somebody to give you N1M,’ una go dey tag me? Me, Sabinus? Like una dey forget? No be una dey here I dey post skit, e get anyone wey I succeed for the skit?” he said in a video, poking fun at the situation.

“All of them no be cry dey end am?” Sabinus said, reminding his fans that his skits consistently show him failing or ending up in tears, hinting that he’s not exactly rolling in cash.
Instead of expecting money from him, he jokingly suggested fans should be sending him money, and also urged them to redirect their tags to wealthier celebrities like Obi Cubana or Cubana Chief Priest, who he believes are better positioned to give out such generous amounts.
“Abeg, make una tag big men,” he concluded with his signature comedic flair.
