LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Veteran Nigerian comedian Gbenga Adeyinka has taken to social media to honor media mogul and Ovation magazine publisher Dele Momodu, whom he fondly refers to as “BOB DOOOOOOOO!”
In a touching Instagram post, Adeyinka recounted the pivotal role Momodu has played in both his personal and professional life.

According to Adeyinka, he was stranded in London after a performance due to airline issues that left him without a flight. At that low point, Momodu not only invited him to dinner but also offered generous financial assistance to help him through the unexpected situation.

“I can never forget his unwavering generosity, which he has shown me time and time again. In that challenging moment, Aare Bamidele provided me with more than enough money to take care of my needs during my stay,” Adeyinka wrote.
Beyond this act of kindness, Adeyinka praised Momodu for his lasting impact on his career, noting that it was Momodu who helped open doors for him to perform for high-profile audiences, including royalty and members of the elite.
Describing him as a man of integrity, kindness, and exceptional generosity, Adeyinka said what truly sets Momodu apart is his selflessness, stating “He never asks for anything in return.”
