LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-At 24, Nigerian media entrepreneur Chude Jideonwo made a life-changing decision that would shape his financial future. 

In a recent podcast appearance, Jideonwo shared that when he started earning a significant amount of money, he chose not to splurge on flashy vehicles, instead he opted to invest in a house in Lekki, Lagos. 

Focusing on building long-term assets, Jideonwo cautioned against making financial decisions solely to impress social media followers. He highlighted the potential future consequences of such actions, emphasizing the importance of intentional financial planning.

“I had the same car for ten years until the car was crying. You have to store wealth so that in time of trouble, you don’t land on the floor,”

“Don’t make a decision based on your followers that will not be relevant in your life in five years. Bear it for five years, they will not laugh at you in five years, He stated.

Jideonwo’s financial revelation serves as a lesson in financial discipline and responsible wealth management, choosing to prioritize investments over extravagant spending and setting himself up for long-term financial stability.
