LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Afrobeat superstar, Burna Boy has gifted Portable a whopping N20 million for defeating Speed Darlington in the celebrity boxing match.
The match, titled “Chaos In The Ring,” featured Portable and Darlington contending, with Burna Boy’s gesture coming after Portable felt insulted when Darlington offered him N500,000 as an appearance fee for his show.

After Darlington suffered a dislocated wrist, allowing Portable to win the match in round one via technical knockout, Burna Boy sent Portable a cash gift, seemingly to rub it in Darlington’s face, given their ongoing feud over Darlington’s cyberbullying and defamation case, which led to his arrest last year at Burna Boy’s behest.
Taking to his Instagram page, Portable expressed gratitude to Burna Boy who he hailed as “Odogwu” for the gift.
He wrote,
“20 million from @burnaboygram. if you wanna be like odogwu can you do like odogwu. God bless your family.”
