LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-The Yoruba traditional wedding ceremony of Priscilla Ojo and Juma Jux, was a grand affair with a majestic cake that towered the ceiling of the event’s center.
The couple who will now be officially addressed as Mr & Mrs Mkambala, brought glam and fanfare to the city of Lagos, with their traditional wedding attended by prominent figures dressed gorgeously in royal colors.
Aside from the fanfare, the majestic, multi-tiered cake, which towered nearly to the ceiling, featured a vibrant splash of colors, including brown, green, gold, earth red, cream, sunset yellow, and orange, symbolizing harmony with nature’s palette.

The traditional cake theme, “East Meets West Africa Royalty” showcased the rich African culture, adorned with palm trees, mud houses, miniatures of animals, and African people engaging in daily activities such as riding a bicycle, hunting, and enjoying the scenery.
