LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Bishop Oyedepo’s first daughter, Love Ogah has shared a testimony with her congregation, recounting how God saved her father from the hands of assassins who visited their home.

In a recent sermon now viral on the internet, the pastor revealed that the incident which occurred when she was still a young secondary school student, frightened her and the family members who were home at the time.

“At one point, we hid between the door and it steemed into my face. My gum was torn and my lip was bleeding”, Ogah added.

According to her, the armed men announced their intention to kill her father, Bishop Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, but after a lengthy search of the entire house, they failed to find him and left frustrated.

Her father later emerged from his bedroom, much to the relief of his family members. He revealed that he had calmly watched the armed men ransack the place from his room, remaining unseen despite their thorough search.

“He was looking at them the entire time, but they couldn’t see him. All of us was looking like film trick“ she stated.

Quoting Isaiah 43:2, Ogah advised the congregation to stay close to God, stating that although hard times will surely come, putting their trust in Him guaranteed that they will always overcome the difficult periods.
