LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Nigerian rapper, Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, popularly known as Phyno has dispelled the rumors of selling off his N10 billion Lagos estate over tribalism.

The rumors stemmed from a tweet by a blogger named “JustSociety” who claimed that Phyno had sold off his Lagos estate to an Arab man over claims of bigotry, adding that his landed properties would be erected in eastern Nigeria, Enugu state, where it will be safe and appreciated.

JustSociety tweet reads,

“Musician Phyno has allegedly sold off his 10 billion naira estate in Lagos to an Arab man from Libya. According to Phyno, it was mistake building such an estate in Yoruba land, where he feels his people are not welcomed”

“He stated, ‘The last election opened my eyes. The hatred towards Igbos is something that seems like it will last forever. Instead of building in Yoruba land, I’m relocating my estate to Enugu, where my people will make good use of it and it will remain safe for generations’.”

The tweet went viral and captured the attention of Phyno who immediately dispelled the blogger’s post as baseless,  presumably malicious, and a lie. He called the controversial blogger a fool, asking, what the endgame was.

Phyno responded,

“You are a fool for cooking up this type of lie!!! Where are you heading with this?. Anwu uta”
