LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has ventured into the world of filmmaking, partnering with one of Hollywood’s finest producer Matthew Vaughn, in an independent joint venture.
The Al-Nassr captain shared the news on his socials with his fans, announcing the launch of a new independent film studio named UR•MARV, dedicated to bringing incredible stories into visually captivating movies.
“This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look ahead to new ventures in business,” Ronaldo said.

His partner, Vaughn, renowned for his cinematic prowess in shooting movies like Kingsman and Kick-Ass, and his passion for sports, described Ronaldo as “a real-life superhero”. He expressed eagerness to create inspiring movies with the football star.
“Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him – he’s a real-life superhero,” Vaughn said.
Aside from his influence on the pitch and social media, Ronaldo also runs various business ventures including the CR7 brand, which offers fragrances, underwear, eyewear and footwear, as well as other ventures like Ursu Water and the Erakulis fitness app.
