LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Popular Tiktoker, Peller, in an attempt to salvage his reputation among social media users has clarified that his previous statements about the ongoing 30-day rant challenge, were misunderstood.
In a previous statement during a live session, Peller suggested that the challenge be taken from TikTok to other social media apps and even the market place, so his source of livelihood could remain unbanned by the Nigerian government.

Following this, he suffered a massive unfollowing on his TikTok and Instagram account, 500,000 and 400,000 respectively.
However, he took to his Instagram account on Thursday evening, to state that his statements were misconstrued, clarifying that he meant for Nigerians to visit public places and stage protests, rather than on social media that could be banned by the government.
Highlighting that he held no political position, Peller stated that he was just a citizen, while advising that people focus on the issues affecting the country and not pass the aggressions to him.
“Please, this boy is nobody. I’m just an ordinary citizen like you. I’m not the president or a governor,” Peller said.
