LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Nigerian actor and model, Joseph Momodu aka Mr Joromi, shared a career milestone with the news of his audition with American filmmaker, Tyler Perry.
The actor gained recognition as a male model in singer Simi’s 2017 popular song ‘Joromi’.
As seen on his Instagram, he shared a series of visuals that showed him speaking Italian and French as he auditioned as an African-American male of Italian and French descent.

Although the audition happened last year, he still urged fans to rate his language skills.
Unknown as a polyglot, fans flooded his comment section to applaud his skill set, while rooting for him to get the coveted role which would propel his career forward.
Currently in the US, Momodu wrote,
“Last year I had the rare privilege to audition for A TYLER PERRY Production in a search for an African American actor with a French & Italian background…”
