LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Sending words of love to her fans on Valentine’s Day, the gorgeous Omotola Jolade Ekehinde aka Omosexy, said that the key to enjoying a great life is self-love.
The revered actress urged fans to gift themselves love this season, stating that it was the fuel that kept confidence in oneself.
In November 2024, Omotola was rushed to the hospital for an emergency surgery to remove her inflated gall bladder, a procedure which left her with a scar on her stomach.
The actress who said her stomach was her most endearing body part, confessed in her post that for a fleeting second she felt insecure about her scars as she posed for pictures, but thankfully, she was confident in herself, proud of her looks and happy with life.

According to her, scars came in different forms and was felt differently by people, she therefore called for more dancing, smiling and taking pride in yourself because being alive conquers it all.

“Loving yourself first is the greatest Val gift. Late last year, I had an emergency surgery… One of the best parts of my body was my tummy… Oh well, not so perfect now…”
“During this shoot, I forgot and grabbed my top during my pose, and I heard a little voice say… there’s nothing to show anymore…”
“Not me! That thing that’ll shake my confidence has not been created. I smiled and danced. I’m alive… it’s just scars,”
“Some people’s scars are physical, and some are emotional… but today, smile, dance, and be proud, beautiful. You’re still here, and you look darn good too!
