LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-Nollywood Filmaker and Actress, Omoni Oboli, in a candid reply said that she had never, not even once, thought about ending her marriage despite all its wahala.
Omoni and Nnamdi Oboli, appeared as guests on the Valentine Edition of Pulse Fun Fact, where they engaged each other in a playful Q&A session.
Nnamdi, finds everything about her attractive while Omoni finds the way he loves her irresistible, a feeling which made her decide to marry him.
During the Q&A, her husband asked if in their 24 years of marriage she ever considered quitting, “Have you ever had any ‘I am done’ moment in our relationship and how did you handle it?”
“No, I’ve never,” she replied.

Although the actress admitted to questioning her decision to marrying at a young age, she however stated that the love of her husband in her heart as well as that of her growing family gave her the answers she needed.
“I’ve had moments where I was like ‘why did I get married so early?’ but never ‘I’m done’. Ever,” she reaffirmed.
They both agreed that their marriage was not perfect and had its challenges especially in their first year where they quarreled incessantly because they got married a short period after meeting each other while she was still very young, “I basically grew in the marriage,” Omoni playfully said.
The couples felt nostalgia for the days when it was just the two of them. Nnamdi, however said he would love if they spent more time together despite the daily hustles and home runnings which he loved to see her do.
In his words, Nnamdi’s secret to a happy marriage read,
“Marriage is a responsibility. You don’t go into a marriage expecting it to happen to you. You are not the third party in your marriage. You are the relationship. It’s between two people; you have to make it work.”
