ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The North-Central All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum has vowed to deliver four million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. With this, they have reaffirmed their strong support for his second-term bid.
Following a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja, the Forum also passed a vote of confidence in APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, commending his leadership and the unity he has fostered within the party.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Forum’s leader, Saleh Zazzaga, emphasized that their support for Tinubu was a recognition of his impactful leadership, which has defied opposition and skepticism.

“We see this as a winning team retaining its coach,” Zazzaga stated, affirming that the North-Central region remains steadfast in ensuring Tinubu’s re-election.
He attributed the region’s backing to Tinubu’s strategic ministerial appointments from North-Central, facilitated by Ganduje’s leadership.
The ministers appointed from the zone include: Prince Lateef Fagbemi (Minister of Justice), Mohammed Idris (Minister of Information and National Orientation), and Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda (Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction).
Others are: Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim (Minister of Women Affairs), Zephaniah Bitrus Jisalo (Minister of Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs), and Prof. Joseph Utsev (Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation)
The appointment of Senator George Akume as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) was also highlighted as a significant political gain for the zone.
