LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)-For the third time in less than one week, the Dansadau-Gusau road in Zamfara state was hit yet again by another bomb blast that left several travelers dead.
The tragic incident which caused serious harm happened on Friday, between Dansadau to Malele road of the state.
For security reasons, a resident anonymously told Channels Television that on the way to the Dansadau market, a commercial truck loaded with passengers and about a 100 bags of grains hit the already planted Improvised Explosive Device (IED), leading to a destructive explosion.

Although, the exact number of casualties remain unknown to security authorities and local residents, yet the residents maintain that several passengers got killed by the blast.
As a result of the repeated bomb blasts causing chaos on the highway, local residents and frequent travelers now instilled with fear of the road considers it a death trap.
Six people lost their lives in a similar bomb explosion a few days ago. The government have been called to intervene swiftly before it becomes extreme.
The newly formed terrorist group Lakurawa, was accused earlier by the police authorities for the recent explosions occurring along the Dansadau-Gusau Road.
