LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA)- USA President-elect, Donald Trump has nominated former Chief of Staff to the US Secretary of Defence, Kashyap Patel, as FBI’s next Director.
Through his Truth social platform, President Trump posted the appointment on Saturday, which read,
“Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and ‘America First’ fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People,”

“He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution.”
Kashyap Patel, is a seasoned attorney with experience in national security, intelligence and counterterrorism and he has always been a staunch critic of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
It was gathered by Fox News that Patel, has been on Trump’s transition team, he helped to uncover the FBI’s surveillance of Trump’s campaign and first term in office. He also advises on appointments made during the administration.
