ABUJA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has reached an agreement with Dangote Refinery to lift products directly from the facility.
IPMAN’s National President, Abubakar Garima, announced the partnership during a press briefing in Abuja on Monday, following a National Working Committee meeting of the association.
Garima stated that the collaboration aims to secure a steady and affordable supply of PMS products across the country.
“After meeting with Aliko Dangote and his management team in Lagos, we are pleased to announce that Dangote Refinery has agreed to supply IPMAN with PMS, AGO, and DPK directly for distribution to our depots and retail outlets.”

Garima encouraged IPMAN members to support Dangote Refinery, highlighting the advantages of backward integration and its positive effects on Nigeria’s foreign exchange market.
“IPMAN members should rely on Dangote Refinery and Nigerian refineries for white products, creating more job opportunities and supporting President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.”
This agreement marks the end of months of negotiations between the two parties and is anticipated to boost efficiency, affordability, and economic growth.
As Africa and Europe’s largest refinery, the Dangote Refinery has already started producing petrol, diesel, and aviation fuel, aiming to supply over 30,000 IPMAN members and 150,000 retail outlets nationwide.
The direct supply arrangement is expected to cut out middlemen, lower costs, and secure a consistent product flow.
