LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- Renowned Nollywood actor Bimbo Manuel says that no actor in Nigeria can afford a luxurious lifestyle solely from acting earnings.
Mr. Bimbo Manuel, 66, who made an appearance at an episode of the TVC’s show, Your View, criticised some of his colleagues for promoting what he referred to as “fake” lifestyles.
The 66-year-old star argued that the images of wealth and luxury, such as high-end cars and upscale mansions, often displayed by Nigerian actors on social media do not reflect the financial reality of the industry.

“The actors you see flaunting Range Rovers and mansions in Ikoyi are living fake lives,” he said.
“No actor in Nigeria would say he or she can buy a Range Rover from acting fees alone.”
Manuel has been a prominent figure in Nollywood for decades and he emphasized that he personally supports a modest lifestyle, choosing “a humble and realistic life” over flamboyance.
