LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo DaSilva, has sparked a conversation about the use of terms such as “daddy,” “spiritual father,” and “father in the Lord” when addressing pastors.
In a recent post on the X platform, DaSilva labeled these expressions as “a red flag,” urging his followers to critically examine their faith.

Drawing from his two years of theological study, DaSilva emphasized the importance of personal understanding of spirituality.
“I went to theology school for two years, not because I want to become a pastor, but to understand the word of God even more,” he stated.
He further encouraged individuals to take personal responsibility for their faith, suggesting that true love for God requires a commitment to learning about Him independently.
“If you claim to love God, you will try to learn about God yourself. It’s like saying you love someone you don’t even know. Don’t be a sheep to everything,” he added.
