LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nollywood actress, Ronke Odusanya, has addressed the controversy surrounding her recent separation from her estranged husband, Saheed Olarewaju, known as Jago.
In an interview with fellow actress Bimpe Akintunde, Odusanya recounted the reason that led to the end of their marriage.
Odusanya revealed that a mutual friend played a significant role in the conflict between her and Jago.
She alleged that the friend informed Jago of her supposed intentions to leave him for a life of prostitution.
The actress claimed that this same friend accused her of spending the night at a senator’s house with their daughter, Fife.

“My ex later realized that he shouldn’t have listened to the things he heard back then,” she stated. “It was shocking to hear what was said about me.”
To combat the accusations, Odusanya provided evidence of her whereabouts at the time. “I recorded a video showing where we were sleeping, with the date and time,” she explained, expressing relief that she had documentation to counter the rumors.
Following their separation, Odusanya described a difficult period marked by financial struggle. “I had nothing when we separated; all my jewelry was taken away, and I fainted,” she recalled. “I cried so much that day because I didn’t have up to N10,000 in my account, but I decided this was it. I had no money for accommodation.”
