#FearlessOctober1 Protest Takes Place In Abuja

LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The nationwide protest set for today has begun in the Federal Capital Territory.

The October 1 protest, tagged #FearlessInOctober, is a continuation of the #EndBadGovernance demonstrations that took place from August 1 to 10 in response to the economic difficulties faced by many Nigerians.

Protesters gathered as early as 7 am at the bustling Utako market in the Utako area of the FCT, where the demonstration is currently taking place.

Damilare Adenola, the Director of Mobilization for the Take It Back Movement, expressed concern over the hardships in the country, which he attributed to the policies of the Federal Government.
