LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Afrobeats sensation, Omah Lay, has confirmed a forthcoming musical collaboration with Davido.
The 27-year-old singer expressed excitement for the project during an interview on The Baller Alert Show with hosts Ferrari Simmons and Byron Turner.
Omah Lay revealed that he had initially thought Davido might not be interested in working with him. However, he was surprised by how well they connected during the creative process.

Speaking about the collaboration, Omah Lay said, “We have a song already that’s coming out. I didn’t want to say that, but I’m very excited about the record because it was something I didn’t imagine would be great.”
He also praised Davido, describing him as “an amazing person” and emphasizing how their collaboration exceeded his expectations.
“The way we got along, and the way we made this record happen, yeah, I’m so excited,” Omah Lay added.
