LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Digital Solutions Company, Globacom, has expressed its willingness to collaborate with Oyo State in promoting the adoption of its digital offerings by tertiary institutions in the state.
At a meeting with representatives of private tertiary institutions in Ibadan on Thursday, the company’s Head of Enterprise Business, Mr. Zakari Usman, encouraged the institutions to embrace Glo’s digital solutions to enhance productivity, security, and operational efficiency.
Speaking at the event, Enterprise Business Head for the West Region, Mr. Adeniyi Odejobi, reaffirmed Globacom’s readiness to partner with Oyo State’s tertiary institutions in various digital solution areas, including connectivity services, e-governance, smart learning, data vending, security surveillance, sponsored data, Glo Smart Health, and closed user group serialised numbers.

He explained that “these solutions will enhance administrative effectiveness, service delivery, and ease of internet connectivity, among other areas of possible collaboration.”
According to Odejobi, Globacom’s educational solutions are essential in integrating the Internet into school curriculums, offering features such as a user-friendly interface, personalized learning paths, interactive content, comprehensive reporting, and analytics, along with other tools.
Welcoming the attendees, Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Waheed Adelabu, expressed optimism that Globacom’s digital package would enhance the ministry’s efforts to establish educational best practices in the state.
He also praised Globacom for its ongoing support of the Education Ministry and its contributions to the development of education in Oyo State.
