LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) –Nollywood Actress, Jumoke George, has issued a warning to women considering Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery after the recent death of a 36-year-old woman during a cosmetic procedure in Lagos.
The incident has led to the arrest of a medical doctor involved in the surgery.
In an emotional Instagram video, George questioned the motivations behind the growing trend of BBL among women, expressing concern that it reflects dissatisfaction with natural bodies.
“Are we telling God that He made a mistake in creating us?” she asked, emphasizing the importance of self-acceptance.

George affirmed that all creations are perfect in their own right, urging women to reconsider the potential risks associated with unnecessary surgical enhancements.
“The scripture says every creature was made in the image of God the Most High. Are we telling God that He does not know what He was doing?” she stated.
Addressing her audience directly, George implored women to reflect on their choices, highlighting that the pursuit of such procedures can lead to severe consequences, including loss of life.
“God has given some long life, but they intentionally cut off their lives. Stay away from BBL,” she cautioned.
