OGUN, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-The Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has been announced as the Chairman of the Southern Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
The Ogun state Governor disclosed this in a tweet via his X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, June 24th, 2024.
The statement reads “Earlier today, I was unanimously nominated as the Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum at the recently concluded meeting hosted by our dear state.
“This is indeed a significant honour bestowed on me by my esteemed colleagues, and I deeply appreciate their confidence in my leadership.”

“Together, we will strive to ensure quality governance across our states and collectively engender exceptional regional development throughout Southern Nigeria.
He aso congratulates Gov.Soludo of Anambra state being appointed as his Vice.
“I also extend my congratulations to my colleague, Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State, who has been elected as the Vice Chairman.” The statement concluded.
