ANAMBRA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Anambra State Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo has emerged Vice Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum.
The Southern Governors Forum is the umbrella body of all the 17 governors in South-West, South-South and South-East geo-political zones of Nigeria.

The meeting on Monday 24th June, 2024, was an intervention by the Governors to jointly brainstorm and address burning issues in the Southern part of Nigeria, as well as the entire country.
The meeting, held at the Presidential Lodge, GRA Ibara, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, lasted for about 5 hours, with 13 Governors and three Deputy Governors from the Southern States in attendance.
At the end of the meeting, Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun emerged as Chairman of the Forum while his Anambra State counterpart, Prof Chukwuma Soludo CFR, emerged as the Vice Chairman of the Forum.
