ANAMBRA, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – A Corps Member serving in the Community Secondary School, Igbaku, Ayamelum Local Government Area of Anambra State, Mr Charles Akhabua has reconstructed a five–room water closet toilet as his personal community development project.
The Delta State born Corps Member said the dilapidated and abandoned toilets in the school resulting in students use of open space informed his decision to embark on the project.
“I was motivated to embark on the project because the existing one in the school was dilapidated and abandoned resulting in students using the open space as an alternative for easing themselves,” he said.
Akhabua thanked the Principal of the school, community leaders and other philanthropists for funding the project.
