LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) –US hip hop stars Ashanti and Nelly reportedly tied the knot nearly six months ago, well before announcing they are expecting their first child together.
According to TMZ, the couple got married on December 27, 2023.
The location of their ceremony remains unknown, but the paperwork shows St. Louis County, Missouri, Nelly’s hometown, was where their union became official.
The development came about the same time when the lovebirds announced Ashanti’s pregnancy in December.
In an interview with Essence, Ashanti expressed gratitude for her new phase and thanked Nelly and her fans for supporting her career.
