LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Former Edo State, Governor Adams Oshiomhole has urged all members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to support the party’s flag-bearer, Monday Okpebholo, in the September 21 governorship election.
Oshiomhole made this call during the campaign council’s inauguration on Friday, emphasizing that every party member has a vital role to play in securing Okpebholo’s victory.
He said, “I am saying here that every member and supporter of the APC is a member of the campaign for genuine change under the leadership of Senator Monday Okpebholo.

“I am the chairman of the campaign council, but titles do not matter. I urge every member of the party in the state to work hard to win their units and wards. Every member is a canvasser,” he added
The Edo North lawmaker expressed his willingness to take on any role necessary to ensure Okpebholo’s success, even if it means “sweeping him into office.”
Senator Matthew Urhoghide, Director General of the Campaign Council, echoed Oshiomhole’s sentiments, urging party members to work hard to defeat the incumbent government and emphasizing the need for unity and hard work over financial resources.
