LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Nollywood veteran actor Charles Olumo a.k.a Baba Agbako has left Kunle Afod in awe after a recent visit, showcasing an astonishing level of energy at the remarkable age of 101.
Afod, a popular Nollywood actor, shared a video on his Instagram page, capturing Olumo’s impressive display of agility.
In the footage, the centenarian can be seen jumping and energetically moving, defying the expectations of his advanced years.
“Charles Olumo, who is 101 years old, the oldest actor on earth, is still very strong and healthy. I visited him to check on his well-being. I pray for this type of grace, ooo,” Kunle wrote.
Agbako was also affirmative when Afod asked if he still visited movie locations.
“I still go to movie locations, in fact, I still have a location I am going to,” he said.
Baba Agbako has become a household name, especially in the Yoruba film industry, with a career that spans over four decades.

Born on February 19, 1923 in Abeokuta, Ogun state, the film star once worked as a mechanic and later as an amateur boxer before venturing into acting.
He started his acting career in 1953 in the Apostolic Church, Mushin, in Lagos state and later began to train the drama groups of other churches.
Agbako eventually joined Nollywood and is well known for his action and scary persona roles in Yoruba films.
He has featured in a plethora of movies such as: ‘Taxi Driver’, ‘Jagun’, ‘Amin Orun’, ‘Aiye’, ‘Jayesinmi’, ‘Soworo Ide’, and ‘Igbo Dudu’.
