LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) Jude Bellingham, the 20-year-old English midfielder, is following in the illustrious footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.

Since his €103 million summer move from Borussia Dortmund, Bellingham has made an instant impact in La Liga, finding the back of the net five times in his first four appearances—a feat previously achieved only by the Portuguese superstar Ronaldo.

Bellingham added to his goal tally in Real Madrid’s recent match against Girona.

With six goals in just seven La Liga games, Bellingham’s performance equals the debut season goal record set by Ronaldo in 2009–10.

This achievement makes him the standout performer for Real Madrid in the 21st century, surpassing the likes of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, and Ronaldo.

Furthermore, Bellingham’s impressive form extends to the Champions League, bringing his total to seven goals in eight appearances across all competitions.
