ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The convoy of the Osun State House of Assembly speaker, Adewale Egbedun, was involved in an auto crash on their way from Osogbo on Sunday, injuring four occupants.
Though Egbedun was not in the vehicle during the accident, but four occupants of one of the vehicles in the convoy who were injured are currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
It was gathered that the accident, which happened around Dagbolu, along Osogbo/Ikirun road, Osun State, had three operatives of the State Security Service (SSS) and the driver in the vehicle.

They were in the vehicle heading towards Odo Otin Local Government, Mr Egbedun’s constituency, where he had planned to attend church service, according to Punch.
Confirming the accident, the speaker’s spokesperson, Olamide Tiamiyu, said, “Three DSS men and a driver were in the vehicle when it happened. One of the tyres had a problem, and the driver lost control of the vehicle.
“Two of the DSS men had slight cuts and were treated in a private hospital in Osogbo. The other two people in the vehicle were discharged this morning.
“The speaker was not in the vehicle. It was a minor accident.”
