LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has faced renewed criticism from pundit Graeme Souness, who labeled him a “lazy tw*t.”
The former Liverpool and Scotland star has frequently criticized Pogba during the player’s time at Manchester United.
Pogba, who was once considered one of the world’s best midfielders, has faced accusations of failing to live up to his potential. He recently returned to Juventus on a free transfer from Manchester United.
Souness reiterated his belief that Pogba’s laziness has hindered his career, pointing to his approach to penalty kicks as an example.

Pogba is currently awaiting the results of a doping test after testing positive for testosterone.
He provided a B sample for counter-analysis on August 20, with results expected by October 5.
Souness expressed his frustration with Pogba’s potential, stating that the French midfielder should be one of the world’s best players in his position but has fallen short due to his perceived lack of effort both in matches and in training.
Pogba is currently serving a suspension following the failed drugs test and is reportedly training separately from his teammates at Cristiano Ronaldo’s former villa in the hills around Turin.
