LAGOS, Nigeria(VOICE OF NAIJA) – In a significant event on Wednesday, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State administered the oath of office to 38 commissioners and special advisers.
The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, situated in Alausa, Ikeja.
The confirmation process for the governor’s cabinet nominees by the Lagos State House of Assembly was not without its share of deliberations. It marked the official establishment of the governor’s cabinet for his second term.
Notably, the final nominee, Tolani Akibu, received confirmation less than 24 hours before the commencement of the swearing-in ceremony.
Among other positions, Mrs Kaosarat Folashade Ambrose was designated as the Commissioner for Industries, Trade, and Investment.
