LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Lionel Messi won’t be on the field with Corentin Jean when he joins the MLS next month since striker tore his ACL while playing for Inter Miami.
Inter Miami’s season-long troubles were made worse by the injury that occurred during their match on Saturday, which resulted in a 3-1 loss for them.
The squad is now two points out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with 12 losses out of its last 17 games.
Lionel Messi will now have to adjust to the squad without one of his possible striking partners after his contract with PSG expired and he made the announcement that he was moving to the MLS.
