ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- There seems to be a sign of relief for the Enugu State Governor-elect, Peter Mbah after the court dismissed the application seeking to stop him from being inaugurated on 29 May.
Recall that the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and its governorship candidate in the 18 March Governorship election prayed the Tribunal to stop the forthcoming inauguration of Mbah as the next Governor of Enugu State.

The Petitioners through their Motion, urged the Tribunal to make an interlocutory order of injunction restraining the Governor-elect from presenting himself, for the purposes of being sworn in as the Governor of Enugu State come 29 May, 2023.
But in a ruling on Tuesday, the Tribunal dismissed the application for lacking in merit.
