A comment made by Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Yusuf, over Seun Kuti’s arrest, has caused an uproar on social media.
The CP informed Nigerians to thank God the body of the Afrobeats musician’s didn’t end up in the lagoon over the alleged Police assault.
The Police commissioner allegedly stated that considering the recent police assault Seun Kati was a involved, people should be thankful his body didn’t end up in the third mainland bridge’s water.
He published this post in reference to the event that occurred a few weeks ago, during which Seun claimed that the policeman had threatened his family while also provoking him to physically assault the policeman, for which he was imprisoned.

Reacting to the Commissioner of Police’ comment, a tweep @Timeoftimmy said: “That statement coming from a CP? Damn this country is way outta it. Nigeria is indeed a jungle……”
