LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Manchester City’s stance on Gundogan has changed as a result of the German midfielder’s strong showings toward the conclusion of the season, and they now want to retain his services.

Pep Guardiola, the manager of City, has already made it known that he wants to keep Gundogan with the team in a recent press conference.

But Barcelona is still certain that they will sign Gundogan at the end of the current campaign.

Additionally, according to Diario SPORT, the player and the Blaugrana have a verbal agreement. According to the rumor, he has already consented to sign a three-year contract to join Barcelona before the new season.

After seven years in Manchester, Gundogan has been given new renewal terms by the club, but he is still looking for a new challenge and hopes to ply his trade at Camp Nou next season.
