LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Bayern Munich 2023–24 home uniform has been introduced by adidas, and it’s all about celebrating the club’s DNA with a fresh twist on the team’s signature red and white colors.

The kit pays homage to the club’s original home uniform, which they wore during their inaugural season in the Bundesliga, with a crisp white foundation and striking red sleeves.

A phrase within the collar that says “Rot & Weiß ein Leben lang“—roughly translated as “red & white for life“—is one of the all-new home kit’s distinctive design aspects.

The requirement that the club’s home uniforms be red and white is included in one of the bylaws.

Bayern Munich player Lina Magull said: “When you think of FC Bayern, images of red and white immediately come to mind. Even as a child, my room was decorated in these colours, and it’s a dream to be able to wear them on the pitch. The new jersey combines history and elegance – and we want to do justice to these colours.”

By using 100% recycled polyester to create both the official and replica versions of the new jersey, adidas continues to advance its commitment to sustainability.

The home kit will be used on the pitch for the first time against RB Leipzig on 20 May.
