LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)-Neymar has reportedly informed his entourage that he wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Despite his adamant desire to remain with the French club, Neymar has been linked with a move elsewhere.

However, Le Parisien says that the Brazilian is now seeking to leave after a PSG fan demonstration outside his house changed the scenario.

According to reports, he wants to play in the Premier League, and Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle are reportedly interested in signing him.

Frequently, PSG supporters and media commentators have singled out Neymar and teammate Lionel Messi for criticism.

This month, the ultras group not only demonstrated outside of Messi’s home but also in front of the club’s offices, asking the South American pair to “get lost” and calling Messi a “son of a b*tch.“

For a while, PSG was willing to let the ex-Barcelona star go, and advisor Luis Campos even tried to arrange for it to happen last year.

Neymar’s struggles with injuries have significantly hampered his progress in the French city.

He was only able to make 29 appearances across all competitions due to an ankle injury he acquired against Lille that forced him to have surgery in February.

Messi is expected to leave PSG when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign.

The Argentine’s relationship with the team hit an all-time low when he traveled to Saudi Arabia without permission, earning him a suspension as a result.

His return to Barcelona has been mentioned, but Inter Miami and the Saudi club Al-Hilal are also interested.

On May 21, Neymar will once more have to sit out of PSG’s Ligue 1 match against Auxerre.
