Yul Edochie is trending on Twitter after his second wife, Judy Austin, shared a video on Sunday, to reveal how God has been fighting her battles since childhood.
She breaks her silence after the death of Yul’s 16-year-old son, with his first wife May in March, 2023.
Sharing the video on her husband’s verified Facebook account on Sunday, the actress said that God came through for her during delivery when it seems difficult and that she and her baby came out alive.
According to unconfirmed sources, the actress welcomed her second child, a baby girl with the actor almost the same time, Yul lost his son.
She said: “I don’t know where to start from; God loves me so much. I know it might sound strange to a lot of people but God loves me so much.
“I don’t know if he loves people like he loves me. He has continued to fight my battles. I am a special child; from my childhood, my youth, till I gave birth to all my kids even till this last baby.
“I have experienced a lot of things in this life. I actually started experiencing it at my tender age. One thing is consistent in my life; it’s God’s love.
“Even when it looks like the trouble around me will swallow me whole, somehow, I pull through, somehow, I get to the top.
“I put to bed when it seems as if it won’t happen. That is God, he came through for me. Jesus made sure that I am fine. And then I came home with my baby. I came out and my baby came out.
“So many people have died from this and I am here.”
The video has sparked mixed reactions on Twitter with some Nigerians saying she set herself up for dragging with that video while others supported her decision to share it on social media.
Reality TV star, Nina Ivy called the actress names and said she stole May’s husband.
“What’s wrong with this human, bitch you stole somebody’s husband and they literally just lost a child and you are saying God loves you. It’s the audacity for me”
A tweep, @IgweOdyssey wrote: “Watched the ramblings. Someone close to her should advise her to keep quiet already.”
“Wait she is now born again or something? Because all I have been hearing is Jesus , Holy Spirit and he came through for me.
“Well, but they said DNA result shows that the child is not for Yul na, so what’s the matter again biko?” @iamokama1 reacted.
Another tweep, @udochukwu_eke on his part, congratulated her on the birth of her child and said, “Congratulations. U to no wrong of getting married to Yul. African culture and Nigerian constitution allows that. Enjoy ur marriage.”
@godwindenzel asked what the actress want. “What is this lady saying exactly? You want attention or something?”
@EveraMiles tweeted: “I feel for Judy, she has been a subject of mockery and perpetual h@tred.”
Eric Okafor was of the opinion that she is having a mental breakdown.
“Her people should check on her. This looks like a mental breakdown.”
“I don’t know what Yul has given her or what she’s given him, but I like my peace too much to complicate it this way. It seems like the best part of their relationship might have been the secrecy,” @laurational wrote.
Meanwhile Judy Austin had sent Yul a message over the death of his first son, Kambilichukwu last week
The actor had last Thursday on Facebook thanked those who commiserated with his family by visiting and calling him during the incident, stating that the love and concerns he got from them were overwhelming.
Reacting to Yul’s post on her Instagram page on Thursday night, Judy urged her husband to remain strong.
She wrote: “Ezedike, you are a Great man. And Great men face great challenges. Your life is in God’s hands. Trust that he will lead you always. Remain strong.”
