ENUGU, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA)- The Kano command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) arrested 29 suspects for crimes during and after the Eld-el-Fitri celebrations.

The NSCDC commandant in Kano, Adamu Salihu, disclosed in Kano on Friday.

Mr. Salihu said the suspects were arrested for possessing dangerous weapons and stolen phones between 21 and 27 April, during and after the celebrations.

“The suspects were arrested for criminal cases related to phone snatching, property theft and vandalism. The suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded,” Mr. Salihu said.
