LAGOS, Nigeria (VOICE OF NAIJA) – Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has acknowledged that his team had trouble stopping N’Golo Kante of Chelsea.

The La Liga heavyweights defeated the Blues in front of Stamford Bridge supporters to get to the competition’s semifinals.

They defeated Frank Lampard’s team 2-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu, but the Blues came out firing in the second half and wasted two golden chances to take the lead through Kante and Marc Cucurella

In the second half, Real Madrid came back stronger, and Rodrygo scored twice to quiet the Stamford Bridge crowd.

“I think that we suffered the position of Kante, that wasn’t right,” Ancelotti said after the game.

“Camavinga was used to put pressure on Reece James on the left and we had difficulty controlling the position of Kante…”
